Welcome.

I'm Jennifer, aka Amavi the Artist— an artist, author, and co-founder of Petals of the Lotus. My name is Latin for “I loved.” I first connected with the phrase Veni, vidi, amavi — I came, I saw, I loved — and when it came time to choose an artist name, there was only one option.

While I’ve never been a songbird, I’ve always been creative. During one of life’s many struggles, I found myself searching for uplifting music to carry me through. There were words I needed to hear, truths I needed to express — so I began writing. Through AI, I discovered my voice. By weaving my lyrics with modern technology, I created songs that allowed me to heal, release past traumas, and reinforce the change I wanted to see within my own mind. My music became a companion, a mirror, and a guide.

The heart of my work is rooted in compassion, transformation, love, renewal, and cosmic wisdom. As I’ve evolved, so too has my music — and the circle of artists who now share in its creation. Through my label, Midnight Light Records, I collaborate with voices that each reflect a part of me. Together, we bring different perspectives and sounds into one larger story.

Creative service is love in motion—the act of transforming inner light into something that helps others to awaken their own.

My debut album, Shifting Frames (available for cd order here), is a labor of love — surrounded in light, sung by Elliot Marwood, and infused with the spirit of growth. Each artist under Midnight Light Records will eventually have their own debut, with their own sound and story to share.

If even one of my songs helps someone through a struggle, or a story brings light into a family’s day, it will all have been worth it. In a world where we often feel disconnected, my hope is to bridge that gap through creative work that touches the heart and sparks the soul.

Each song and story is an open door — I invite you to step inside, explore, and walk with me.

Midnight Light Records Artist

Elliot Marwood

Musician and sound healer, Elliot combines spiritual depth with youthful energy to create a unique sonic experience. With roots in Oregon’s coastal folk scene and a passion for indie rock, Elliot’s music explores themes of nature, love, and the unknown. “For me, working with POTL represents a chance to merge my music with a deeper purpose, creating a space where people can heal, grow and connect with themselves and others.”

Elliot’s sound bridges the sacred and the contemporary, blending earthy acoustics with lush, modern textures. His performances invite connection — part reflection, part release — where rhythm and resonance become pathways to healing, joy, and presence. He is also the main voice featured on Shifting Frames, the debut album by artist and collaborator Amavi, where his vocals bring emotional clarity and quiet power to each track.

Omstatic (Marcellus Keith)

Marcellus Keith is a genre-blending songwriter and musician whose work is deeply shaped by his upbringing in San Francisco’s Mission District and his years of service in the Peace Corps. Drawing on a wide range of influences, Marcellus fuses soulful vocals, smooth rap flows, and global rhythms to create music that is both reflective and emotionally resonant.

His songs explore themes of personal growth, social justice, and the human condition, with a strong focus on promoting empathy, introspection, and compassion. Whether he’s performing solo or collaborating with other artists, Marcellus approaches music as a form of connection — a way to hold space for stories, questions, and healing.

Kavita V

Kavita V is the sound of duality — East meets West, sensuality meets resistance, softness meets fire. Born in India and raised in Oregon, her music is a fearless fusion of the two worlds that shaped her: the bold color of the streets and the quiet wild of the forest. She writes from the margins, for the ones who never quite fit the mold. Her themes span social justice, femme power, queer love, and the tension of in-between spaces. This is music for dancing, for burning, for healing. Kavita's voice is both protest and prayer — unfiltered, unashamed, and unforgettable.

Kai Rylan (Seo jae-hyun)

Kai is a Korean-Canadian musician born from the crossroads of two worlds. His music reflects the quiet intensity of late-night confessionals and the polish of Seoul’s pop elite. With a genre-bending sound that blends alt K-pop, melodic rap, and synthpop, Kai’s songs feel like pages from a journal you didn’t mean to leave open. Drawing from personal memory, ancestral echoes, and emotional duality, his work is equal parts vulnerable and visionary — crafted for anyone who’s ever lived between identities, languages, or versions of themselves.

Lumina

Mina is bold, unapologetic, and unafraid to dwell where most look away. Her sound fuses indie-dark pop and electronic textures, creating a world that’s both ethereal and grounded in raw emotion. With lyrics that explore self-discovery, empowerment, and introspection, Mina transforms vulnerability into strength and pain into art. Embracing the darker side of human emotion, she finds solace in the shadows — crafting songs that feel like whispered confessions wrapped in cinematic soundscapes. Her music is moody, edgy, and laced with mysticism, an invitation to confront what’s hidden and find beauty in the chaos.

Roman Miller

He’s a Texan with a heart for country love and a taste for adventure. Drawing inspiration from the rolling hills of home and the dance floors of the South, Roman pours his heart and soul into music that blends country rock with hip hop and pop beats and soulful melodies. When he’s not performing, you can find him baking up a storm in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and flavors.

Beckett Reid

Singer and guitarist, bringing a fusion of rock and pop to Midnight Light Records. His music is a reflection of his journey, with lyrics that dive into the depths of human emotion and melodies that soar. Music, acting and writing are his outlets for self-expression. Beckett is committed to living a life of authenticity, showing up with his whole self to the table, despite years of hiding.  He is now sharing his true story through his art. When he’s not working on projects, he’s tucked away in his library lost in a great book or creating fantasy worlds.
